After working as a personal trainer for 14 years in both commercial gyms and my studio, I took a break to embark on a new challenge to train as a firefighter. So, after working hard physically and mentally for 18 months, I am officially an operational firefighter at Hammersmith fire station. Having settled into the role, I am reigniting (excuse the pun) my love for personal training and reopening my doors with a fresh new look but with the same feel.
While training as a firefighter, I found that the foundations I had built with my fitness and health meant that I could face the challenges presented to me without worrying if my body would let me down physically. This discovery leads me to my next point.
Investing time in your health is so valuable on so many levels. It will prepare you for the things that matter to you, whether maintaining a healthy immune system, staying injury free whilst playing your favourite sport or preparing for the changes that happen as you move into menopause. Having a personal trainer or a coach is more than just a weekly training session. It's guidance, knowledge, and someone to be accountable to, but most of all, it's a partnership.
Research has proved time and time again that exercise and a balanced diet are the best medicine for a healthy life, but it's also far easier to achieve this day in and day out surrounded by people with the same mindset. I understand that most require bespoke personal training programmes to achieve their long-term goals. We will work on building a structured regime during your one-to-one sessions which includes nutritional guidance allowing you to focus on one thing - your results. Prices start from £35 an hour.

For those of you that have a little or a lot of training experience but need someone to be accountable to. Sessions are structured the same way as a PT session but my time is shared with a max of 3 others. Prices range from £10-£20 an hour.

If you're an experienced gym user and you have access to your own kit but you need a consistent plan, then remote programming may be a suitable alternative to one to one sessions. Managed on the app Truecaoch which is a multifunctional platform that can track progress and allows us to communicate via messages.
